The Alice + Ames ballet dresses are my second, no-brainer pick as an "Alyssa's Favorite." We just received a new shipment of Short Sleeve Ballet Dresses in Ivory Dot and Herbal Study sizes from 2T all the way to 10Y. We began carrying these dresses as soon as we opened our stores because they were a favorite staple for our daughter and are known for their super fun twirl factor. I love the fact they they can be worn year-round- with sandals and sneaks in the warmer seasons and high-tops and boots in chilly months. They look great with knee-socks, tights and leggings and layered with a knit cardigan or a jean jacket on top or a long-sleeved tee underneath. Last, but certainly not least, they make amazing, comfortable, and practical Halloween costumes! I've included a couple of examples below, but really, you can let your creativity and imagination take you anywhere. I'm not the least bit crafty, but thinking Ivory Dot would make an adorable and easy Cruella DeVille when paired with the classic wig and what about butterfly wings and antennae with Herbal Study?
